I am Anthony Walsh, Founder of Vocal Chef.
My passion as a chef came from a young age when I was helping my mum out cooking in the family kitchen. From a young age I was always interested in experimenting with different foods and flavours, but also how to present dishes in a way that showcases creativity and skill. I have found that working with food is what brings people together. From simply combining basic combinations we can bring endless satisfaction.
Having finished my culinary qualifications in the West Midlands where I have grown up. I enthusiastically moved down to Devon in 2011 to work in a fine dining hotel. After working in this environment, this is where I was able to expand and develop my passion for food, and creativity.
After returning home I continued working in top restaurants and hotels, honing in on the finer details of gastronomy. In 2020 when hospitality abruptly closed due to the pandemic. I focused on using my artistic, knowledge, and creative flare for fixing a problem I have seen in the industry.
This is where Vocal Chef was born.
